No, I won’t forget it. I still cringe whenever my cousin or her mom tell the story in my presence. Whoever it is being told to always begins to look me up and down, then smirk. I feel a flush of embarrassmentand suddenly I’m back there. Ten again, in her dress and shoes, being dragged out to be teased and laughed at.

Sure a bunch of girls agree with the punishment. I still think my aunt overreacted. And yes Kay, my cousin lifted the dress exposing my underwear. Several times.

I think it is wrong to humiliate anyone. However giving you a taste of your own medicine was probably the best most effective punishment she could have dished out.
